OVERVIEW OF FREEZE – DRYING PROCESS
Step 1
Fresh or cooked foods are flash frozen.
Step 3
The freeze dried food is seald in moisture and oxygen proof pakaging to ensure freshness until opened.
Step 2
The frozen prosucts are placed in a vacum chanmber and water content is geutly drown out of the cell as steam, via sublimation.
Step 4
When the water is replaced. The food regains it original dresh flavour aroma, texture and appearance.
